Middletown, Conn.- Freshman diver Caroline Harrison (Chatham, N.J.) won the one- and three-meter events to lead the visiting Trinity College Bantams to a 150-149 win over the Wesleyan University Cardinals in women’s swimming and diving action this afternoon. The Trinity men dropped a 122-110 decision against the Cardinals to drop to 0-4 for the season, while the Bantam women even their season mark at 2-2.

Trinity women’s freshman Lindsey Jordan (Summit, N.J.) won the 100-yard backstroke and teamed with classmates Ashley Plosky (Vernon, Conn.) and Jessica Zimmer (Meadville, Pa.), and junior Jennifer Bartlett (Marblehead, Mass.) to capture the 400-yard medley relay race. First place performances were also turned out by Bantam freshman Amy Corvino (Florham Park, N.J.), in the 100-yard breaststroke, and classmate Katie Tucker (Latham, N.Y.), in the 200-yard breaststroke.

In the men’s meet, senior co-captain Jesse Hammond (New London, Conn.) won the 50-yard freestyle, classmate Maurice Lee (Wayne, Pa.) took first in the 1,000-yard free, and sophomore Matt DeRosa (Setauket, N.Y.) finished first in the 200-yard backstroke for Trinity.
