Hartford, Conn. - Freshman Lindsey Jordan (Summit, N.J.) won both backstroke events and the 50-yard butterfly to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 154-146 win over the visiting Connecticut College Camels in women's swimming and diving action this afternoon. The Bantam men's squad dropped a 156-111 decision against the Camels. The Trinity women even their season record at 1-1, while the Bantam men fall to 0-2. The Connecticut College women drop to 1-1 and the Camel men improve to 2-0.

The Trinity women held a 134-130 advantage entering the 200-yard individual medley, and freshmen Katie Tucker (Latham, N.Y.) won the event, followed by classmate Amy Corvino (Florham Park, N.J.) and sophomore Elizabeth Rameley (Old Greenwich, Conn.) in third and fourth, respectively, to clinch the meet for the Bantams. The Camel women set a number of pool records, including new marks in the 200-yard medley relay (1:58.430 and the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:48.45). Connecticut College sophomore Kate Kovenock (Orono, Maine) set a new pool record in the 100-yard butterfly at 1:00.55, while Camel men's senior Josh Garner (Glendale, Wisc.) broke the pool record in the 50-yard breaststroke with a time of 28.46.

Bantam senior co-captain Jesse Hammond (New London, Conn.) won the 50- and 100-yard freestyles, and sophomore Matt DeRosa (Setauket, N.Y.) took first in the 200-yard individual medley. Rameley won the 200-yard freestyle and freshman Holly Thompson (Wall, N.J.) won the 1,000-yard freestyle for the Trinity women's squad.
