Waterville, Maine – Freshman Amy Corvino (Florham Park, N.J.) won the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke events to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 152-148 win over the Bowdoin College Polar Bears in a women’s swimming and diving tri-meet this afternoon at Colby College. The Trinity women lost to the host Colby White Mules, 180-114, while the Bantam men’s team lost to Bowdoin, 166-115, and to Colby, 183-96. The Trinity women are now 5-4 for the season and the men’s team drops to 0-8.
Freshman Christian Greer (Fairfield, Conn.) won the 1,000-yard freestyle for the Trinity men and freshman Lindsey Jordan (Summit, N.J.) took first in the 100-yard backstroke for the Bantam women’s squad. Classmate Caroline Harrison (Chatham, N.J.) finished second in the one- and the three-meter dives for Trinity.
