Waltham, Mass. - Freshman Julia Kaye (Upper Saddle River, N.J.) won the 500-yard and the 1,000-yard freestyle in a losing effort as the visiting Trinity College Bantams were swept by the Brandeis University Judges in men's and women's swimming and diving action this afternoon. The Trinity women suffered a 135-105 defeat to fall to 0-2, while the Bantam men lost, 138-99, to drop to 0-2. The Brandeis women improve to 2-1 and the men up their season mark to 1-2.

Senior diver Bradford Albus (New Canaan, Conn.) dominated with first-place finishes in the one-meter and three-meter dives, and sophomore Chris Rorer (Villanova, Pa.) won the 200-yard breaststroke and the 200-yard individual medley for the Bantams men's squad. Trinity junior Christian Sterling (Glastonbury, Conn.) added afirst-place performance in the 200-yard butterfly. Senior tri-captain Cory Bernard (Seymour, Conn.) joined Kaye as a first-place finisher for the Trinity women's team, winning the 200-yard butterfly.
