Hartford, Conn. - Senior diver Bradford Albus (New Canaan, Conn.) won both diving events and qualified for the NCAA Division III National Championships in the three meter event to lead the visiting Trinity College Bantams to a 149-100 win over the Wheaton College Lyons in men's swimming and diving action this afternoon. The Bantam women posted their first dual win of the season, 154-145, over the Lyons. The Trinity men improve to 2-5, while the women improve to 1-7 with their first-ever win under first-year Head Coach Kristen Noone.

Albus received a score of 275.75 to qualify for the National Championships in the three-meter and had a score of 242.70 in the one-meter. Senior tri-captain Chris Nicholas (Seekonk, Mass.) won the 50- and 100-yard backstrokes and the 100-yard individual medley, and teamed with junior Alex Blanchard (Warwick, R.I.) and sophomores Coley Dale (Bloomfield, Conn.) and Chris Rorer (Villanova, Pa.) to take first in both the 200-yard medley relay and the 200-yard freestyle relay for Trinity.

Dale also won the 100-yard and 200-yard freestyles, while Blanchard won the 100-yard butterfly and Rorer won the 50-yard breaststroke. Trinity junior Christian Sterling (Glastonbury, Conn.) won both the 1,650-yard freestyle and the 50-yard butterfly.

On the women's side, senior tri-captain Cory Bernard (Seymour, Conn.) won both the 50-yard and the 100-yard butterfly, junior Lydia Barrett (Haverhill, Mass.) won the 200- and the 500- yard freestyles, and freshman Julia Kaye (Upper Saddle River, N.J.) took first in the 1,650- and the 100-yard freestyle events for the Bantams.
