Middletown, Conn. - Freshman Julia Kaye (Upper Saddle River, N.J.) won two events as lead the visiting Trinity College Bantams lost, 135-98 to the Wesleyan University Cardinals in New England Small College Athletic Conference women's swimming and diving action this afternoon. The Bantam men lost, 137-81, to the Cardinals. The Trinity women fall to 0-5 with the loss, while the Bantam men drop to 1-3. The Wesleyan women are now 1-4 with their first dual victory of the season, and the Cardinal men improve to 1-3.

Kaye won the 500-yard and the 1,000-yard freestyle for the Bantams. Senior tri-captain diver Katie Bryant (Concord, Mass.) and junior Jessica Harmon (Selma, Ala.), who was competing in her first meet after spending the fall semester studying abroad, swept the three- and one-meter diving, respectively, for the Trinity women.

Senior diver Brad Albus (New Canaan, Conn.) set a new Bantam record in the three-meter dive with a score of 264.68, but finished second to Wesleyan's Abbott Willard (West Hartford, Conn.) who posted national-qualifying scores in both diving events.
