Hartford, Conn. - Senior tri-captain Cory Bernard (Seymour, Conn.) won the 100-yard butterfly and swam a leg in a first-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay as the Trinity College Bantams lost, 121-103 to the visiting Tufts University Jumbos in New England Small College Athletic Conference women's swimming and diving action this afternoon. The Bantam men lost, 169-64, to the Jumbos. The Trinity women fall to 0-6 with the loss, while the Bantam men drop to 1-4. The Tufts women are now 3-1 and the Jumbo men improve to 5-0.

Bernard swam a 1:05.90 to win the 100-yard butterfly and freshman Jennifer Bartlett (Milton, Mass.). Senior tri-captain Katie Bryant (Concord, Mass.) won the three-meter dive with a score of 230.925. Senior diver Brad Albus (New Canaan, Conn.) was the only Trinity first-place finisher in the men's
