TRINITY MEN'S SQUASH PUMMELS PRINCETON

Hartford, Conn. - Senior co-captain Loua Coetzee (Port Alfred, South Africa) dominated in his match at No. 7 to lead the Trinity College Bantams to an 8-1 win over the visiting Princeton University Tigers this afternoon in men's squash action. Trinity, which is ranked No. 1 in the nation, is 14-0 and has won 49 consecutive matches, including 36 straight at home. Princeton, ranked No. 3, falls to 7-2 with their second straight loss.

All eight Trinity wins were by a score of 3-0, including Coetzee's, in which he allowed just 19 total points. Three Trinity players defeated nationally-ranked Tiger opponents, led by freshman Michael Ferriera (Stamford, England) who blanked second-ranked David Yik (Vancouver, British Columbia), 15-6, 15-11, 15-13, at the No. 1 position. Trinity sophomore Nickolas Kyme (Pembroke, Bermuda) defeated junior and No. 11-ranked Peter Kelly (Brooklyn, N.Y.), 3-0, at No. 4 and Bantam junior Rohan Juneja (Bombay, India) won, 3-0, against No. 20-ranked sophomore Eric Pearson (Philadelphia, Pa.) at No. 5.
