TRINITY MEN'S SQUASH DEFEATS YALE

Hartford, Conn. - Freshman Michael Ferriera (Stamford, England) dominated play at the No. 3 position with a 15-5, 15-3, 15-5 triumph over the No. 17 player in the nation to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 9-0 win over the visiting Yale University Bulldogs in men's squash action this afternoon. Trinity, which is ranked No.1 in the nation, is now 5-0 and has won 40 consecutive matches since losing in the Potter Trophy finals in 1998. Yale, ranked No. 4, falls to 3-1.

Seven out of nine Bantams players swept 3-0 matches against the Bulldogs, including junior No. 5 Lefike Ragontse (Gaborone, Botswana), junior No. 6 Gaurav Juneja (Bombay, India), and senior No. 9 Loua Coetzee (Port Alfred, South Africa).
