DOHERTY AND KLAUS POWER TRINITY
MEN'S SOCCER TO TRIUMPH OVER COLBY
Hartford, Conn.- Junior goalkeeper Michael Doherty (Marshfield, Mass.) made four saves to record the shutout and classmate John Klaus (Blue Bell, Pa.) scored a pair of goals to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 4-0 win over the visiting Colby College White Mules in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) men's soccer action this afternoon. Trinity improves to 2-1-1 overall and 2-0-1 in the NESCAC, while Colby drops to 3-1 overall with its first loss of the season, and 1-1 in the league. Senior co-captain Peter Zoppi (Cheshire, Conn.) and junior back Tim Cross (Marblehead, Mass.) had goals for the Bantams. Colby senior goalie Andy Danzinger (Frederick, Md.) had four saves in a losing effort.
