TRINITY FALLS TO CLARK IN MEN’S SOCCER

Worcester, Mass. - Junior forward Juan Andre Garcia-Alvarez (Bogota, Columbia) and sophomore forward Matthew Loew (East Meadow, N.Y.) each scored a goal to lead the Clark University Cougars to a 2-1 victory over the visiting Trinity College Bantams in men’s soccer this afternoon. Trinity drops to 6-7 overall with its fourth consecutive loss, while Clark improves to 8-7 with the victory with its first win in the last five games.

Sophomore Bret Boudreau (Orinda, Calif.) scored the lone Trinity goal. Classmates Tim Cross (Marblehead, Mass.) and Jon Klaus (Blue Bell, Pa.) each had an assist. Bantam freshman Jamie Burns (Minnetonka, Minn.) and Clark freshman Andrew Sierman (Barrington, R.I.) each made four saves in goal.
