POOLE GIVES TRINITY MEN'S SOCCER A TIE AT COLBY

Waterville, Maine - Sophomore forward Stuart Poole (Scarborough, Maine) scored the game-tying goal in the 76th minute to lead the visiting Trinity College Bantams to a 1-1 tie against the Colby College White Mules in New England Small College Athletic Conference men's soccer action this afternoon.

Trinity is now 2-2-3 for the season and 1-2-1 in the NESCAC, while Colby falls to 3-3-2 and 0-3-2 in the league.

Senior Jamie Lue (Kingston, Jamaica) scored for the Mules in the second half at the 64:52 mark on an assist by sophomore Jamie Yurek (Hartford, Conn.). Poole scored on a cross from fellow sophomore forward Morgan Sandell (Cohasset, Mass.) 11 minutes later to tie the score.

Senior tri-captain Tom Hambrick-Stowe (Lancaster, Pa.) made three saves in 120 minutes for Trinity, and senior Justin Amirault (Plymouth, Mass.) made six saves for Colby.
