TRINITY MEN’S LACROSSE FALLS
AT CONNECTICUT COLLEGE

 New London, Conn.- Senior Dan Hawxhurst (Huntington Station, N.Y.) netted four goals to lead the Connecticut College Camels to a 10-7 victory over the Trinity College Bantams in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) men’s lacrosse action this afternoon on Harkness Green.

Junior James Skiff (Portland, Maine), sophomore Jake Dore (Manchester, Mass.), and senior tri-captain Ravi Pillay (Falls Church, Va.) each netted two scores for the visiting Bantams.  Topher Grossman (Villanova, Pa.) had 21 saves in net for Connecticut College, and junior Geoff Shaw (Charlotte, NC) had 11 saves for the Bantams.  Trinity outshot the Camels, 28-20. 

Senior Kevin Burke (Beverly, Mass.) netted two goals and added three assists en route to a five-point afternoon, while Mike Hasenauer (Weston, Conn.) chipped in with two goals for the Camels, who rebounded after trailing 3-0 in t
he early going.

 Trinity took a 3-0 lead on a goal by Pillay with 2:10 left in the opening quarter. The Camels outscored Trinity, 3-1, in the second stanza and took the lead for good, 5-4, on Hasenauer’s second score of the day with 37 seconds left in the half.  In the second half, the Camels scored five unanswered goals to build a 10-4 lead with 6:47 to play.
