COURTISS LEADS BOWDOIN MEN'S LACROSSE
TO WIN AT TRINITY

Hartford, Conn. - Junior attackman Kyle Courtiss (Duxbury, Mass.) scored two goals and added two assists to lead the visiting Bowdoin College Polar Bears to a 10-8 win over the Trinity College Bantams in New England Small College Athletic Conference men's lacrosse action this afternoon.

Trinity ends the 2002 season with a 2-11 overall record and a 2-7 mark in the NESCAC. Bowdoin, ranked No. 2 in New England and No. 15 in the nation, finishes the regular season with a 10-3 overall record and a 7-2 mark in the league. Bowdoin will host a NESCAC Championship Tournament first round game tomorrow.

Senior midfielder Sean Rohan (South Hadley, Mass.) and sophomore attackman James Skiff (Portland, Maine) led the Bantams with four and two goals, respectively. Senior goalkeeper Eric Wilson (West Hartford, Conn.) made eighteen saves for the Bantams, while P.J. Priest (Potomac, Md.) had twelve stops for the Bowdoin. Bowdoin led, 4-2,after the first quarter and never trailed.
