SCHWALM LEADS HAMILTON OVER TRINITY
MEN'S LACROSSE IN FLORIDA

New Port Richey, Fla. - Junior attackman Brad Schwalm (Greenwich, Conn.) notched four goals and two assists to lead the Hamilton College Continentals to a 10-7 win over the Trinity College Bantams in men's lacrosse season action this afternoon. Trinity, ranked No. 7 in New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) Division III, evens its season record at 1-1, while Hamilton is now 1-0.

Hamilton scored three goals in each of the last three quarters, and withstood a four-goal fourth quarter by the Bantams. Trinity senior tri-captain midfielder Mark Tassie (Hopewell, N.J.) scored his two goals in the fourth stanza and Bantam freshman attackman Sandy Leighton (Blue Bell, Pa.) cut the Continental lead to one with his first collegiate goal, but Hamilton quickly answered to put the game out of reach.

Trinity senior attackman Rob Morse (Winchester, Mass.) had two goals and an assist and Leighton collected an assist, while junior goalie Eric Wilson (West Hartford, Conn.) made 14 saves. Hamilton senior attackman Sean Duffy (Essex Falls, N.J.) totaled two goals and four assists and junior backstop Brad Wolcott (Syracuse, N.Y.) stopped 17 Trinity shots in goal.
