Sports update, men's lacrosse at Colby, 4/8/00


TRINITY MEN'S LACROSSE CLOBBERS COLBY ON THE ROAD

Waterville, Maine  -- Senior tri-captain attackman Bobby Souers (Montgomery
Village, MD) scored two goals and assisted on two others to lead the
visiting Trinity College Bantams to an 11-6 win over the Colby College White
Mules in Snively League men's lacrosse action this afternoon on Seaverns
Field.
	Souers, senior attackman Alex Ullman (North Haven, CT) and freshman
attackman Ravi Pillay (Bethesda, MD) had two goals each for the Bantams.
Seniors Jeff Boyer (Bernardsville, NJ) and Jeremy Barron (Denver, CO) scored
twice each for the Mules.  Boyer also had two assists and four points.
	The Bantams improve to 7-0 on the season.  Sophomore netminder John
Shea (Mountain Lakes, NJ) made 27 saves in net for the Mules who slip below
.500 at 3-4.  Trinity senior tri-captain Matt Jerry (Acton, MA) made 10
saves and allowed less than 10 goals for the third consecutive game.
