FINCH GOALS HELP TRINITY MEN’S
ICE HOCKEY DOWN MASS. COLLEGE

West Hartford, Conn. - Freshman forward Cameron Finch (Acton, Mass.) scored a pair of goals to give the Trinity College Bantams a 5-2 victory over the visiting Massachusetts College Trailblazers in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC)/Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) East men’s ice hockey action this evening at Kingswood Oxford Rink. Trinity, ranked No. 14 in the nation, improves to 12-4-2 overall and 11-2-1 in the NESCAC, while snapping a two-game losing skid. The Trailblazers fall to 4-11-2 overall and 2-11-1 in the ECAC East.

Sophomore forward Joe Ori (Niles, Ill.), netted a goal halfway through the second period that put Trinity up to stay, while Bantam junior forward Steve LaBrie (Springfield, Mass.), and sophomore forward Ryan Stevens (Concord, N.H.) rounded out the home team scoring. All three also contributed an assist. Sophomore goaltender Douglas Kisielius (Park Ridge, Ill.) got back on track by stopping 21 shots, including 10 in the final period, while junior Jason Vasco (Clifton Park, N.Y.) stopped 32 shots for the Trailblazers.
