TRINITY MEN'S ICE HOCKEY DEFEATS
CONNECTICUT COLLEGE
West Hartford, Conn.- Senior co-captain Greg O'Leary (Reading, Mass.) had two assists to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 5-2 victory over the visiting Connecticut College Camels in men's hockey action this evening at the Kingswood Oxford rink. The victory pushes the Bantams record to 15-5-2 overall and 14-3-1 in the NESCAC. The loss drops the Camels to 5-14-4 overall and 3-11-4 in the NESCAC.
Trinity had a well-balanced offensive attack with goals scored by five different players. Sophomore forward Jeffrey Natale (Hamden, Conn.) got the action started with a power play goal at the 14:04 mark into the first period.
The Bantams scored four goals in the second period highlighted by a beautiful shot by sophomore forward Joe Ori (Niles, Ill.) with a minute and half left in the period. The Camels added two late goals to make the game closer than it appeared.
