LABRIE LIFTS TRINITY TO WIN
OVER COLBY ON THE ICE

West Hartford, Conn. - Sophomore forward Steve LaBrie (Springfield, Mass.) scored two goals to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 6-4 win over the visiting Colby College White Mules in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) men's ice hockey action this evening at Kingswood-Oxford Rink. Trinity improves to 10-6-1 overall and 8-4-1 in the NESCAC with its fourth win in the last five games. The White Mules drop to 10-4-2 overall and 8-3-2 in the league with their second loss in the last three games.

Trinity jumped out to an 2-0 lead seven minutes into the game when sophomore forward Daniel Gyllstrom (Hudson, Mass.) broke free for a power play goal. Colby cut the Trinity lead to 4-3 with seven minutes remaining in the second period, before Trinity quickly answered with two goals of their own, including a pivotal score by senior co-captain forward Matthew Greason (Bridgton, Maine) that gave the Bantams a three-goal advantage entering the final period. Trinity senior goalie Geoffrey Faulkner(Westerville, Ohio) turned aside 26 shots for the victory.
