TRINITY PULLS AWAY FROM JOHNSON
AND WALES IN MEN'S ICE HOCKEY

Hartford, Conn. - Junior defenseman Brian Fenwick (Birmingham, Mich.) scored the game-winning goal with 5:59 remaining in the third period to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 5-3 win over the visiting Johnson and Wales University Wildcats in men's ice hockey this evening. The Bantams win their third game in a row, and are now 6-1-1 overall and 4-0 in the New England Small College Athletic Conference. The Wildcats, which lose their first game in the last seven, fall to 6-3.

The Wildcats came out out roaring with a goal in the first minute by sophomore forward Scott Graham (Westminster, Colo.), and added a second score with 4:04 left in the opening period by freshman forward Matt O'Connor (Plaistow, N.H.).

Trinity finally got on the scoreboard 12:15 into the second frame on a goal by junior forward Matt Greason (North Bridgton, Maine). The Bantams scored twice more in the next 4:35 before the Wildcats netted their third goal of the game to tie the score at 3-3.

Fenwick scored the deciding goal on an assist from senior forward Denis Petrov (Novokuznetsk, Russia) and Trinity sophomore goaltender Evan Munno (Lake Grove, N.Y.) held Johnson and Wales scoreless in the third to seal the Bantam victory.

Sophomore forward Greg O'Leary (Reading, Mass.) added an insurance goal with 1:40 to play and the Bantam defense allowed just four shots on goal in the final period. Senior goalie Scott Jacob (Milford, Conn.) made 31 saves in a losing effort for the Wildcats, while Munno had 18 saves.
