TRINITY WINS SECOND STRAIGHT OVER JOHNSON
AND WALES IN TIMES ARGUS INVITATIONAL

Northfield, Vt. - Junior goalie Geoff Faulkner (Westerville, Ohio) made 29 saves to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 4-2 win over the Johnson and Wales University Wildcats in the semifinals of the Times Argus Invitational Men's Ice Hockey Tournament at Norwich University this evening.

The Bantams, who defeated the Widcats, 5-3, on Dec. 7 in their last game, win their fourth game in a row, and are now 7-1-1 overall and 4-0 in the New England Small College Athletic Conference. The Wildcats, which ends a three-game winning streak, falls to 9-4.

Trinity never trailed in the game, although the Wildcats pulled within one at 3-2 with 4:46 remaining in the game on a goal by Scott Graham (Westminster, Colo.). Four different Bantams scored, including sophomore forward Dustin Kim (Laurel, Md.) 1:20 into the game. Freshmen forwards Kevin Dmochowsky (Cedarburg, Wisc.) and Dan Gyllstrom (Hudson, Mass.) each notched a goal and an assist for Trinity.

The Bantams, ranked No. 13 in the nation entering the tourney, will play host and defending NCAA Division III national champion Norwich University in the finals tomorrow night. Norwich defeated St. Michael's College, 4-2, in its semifinal game. The Wildcats will play St. Michael's in the consolation game tomorrow afternoon.
