TRINITY MEN’S BASKETBALL WINS AT WESLEYAN
Middletown, Conn.- Senior tri-captain swingman Colin Tabb (Somers, Conn.) scored a game-high 23 points and pulled down 11 boards, sinking all 10 of his foul shots, to lead the visiting Trinity College Bantams to a 72-65 win over the Wesleyan University Cardinals in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) men’s basketball action this afternoon.
Trinity improves to 15-4 overall and 6-1 in the NESCAC with its third consecutive win, while the Cardinals drop to 12-9 overall and 2-5 in the league with their fourth consecutive loss.
Trinity junior forward Ryan Uszenski (Woodbridge, N.J.) added 22 points, making seven out of nine shots from the field, four assists, and four steals, and senior tri-captain forward Bryan Dion (East Haven, Conn.) chipped in with 12 points.
Senior guard Leo Jones (Englewood, N.J.) paced Wesleyan with 15 points, eight boards, and three steals, while sophomore center Kanem Johnson (New Haven, Conn.) had 14 points, eight rebounds, and three steals, and sophomore guard Keala Mills (Lenox, Mass.) added 12 points off the bench.
