TABB LEADS TRINITY MEN’S HOOPS
TO WIN OVER WILLIAMS

Bantams start out 2-0 in the NESCAC

Hartford, Conn. - Junior forward Colin Tabb (Somers, Conn.) scored a team-high 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 73-59 win over the visiting Williams College Ephs in New England Small College Athletic Conference men’s basketball action this afternoon. Trinity, which wins its fourth game in a row, improves to 10-2 and 2-0 in the NESCAC. Williams falls to 9-5 and 0-2 in the league with its second loss in two days.

Trinity went ahead 5-3 and never trailed after that, opening up a 25-9 lead with 10:42 left in the first half on a put-back by junior forward Brian Dion (East Haven, Conn.). The Bantams led, 37-25, at the half and extended their advantage to as many as 23 points in the second half. The Bantams held Williams to 35 % percent field goal shooting for the game.

Tabb made five out of seven field goal attempts and all 10 of his free throws, while Dion totaled 14 points, five rebounds, and five assists, and sophomore forward Ryan Uszenski (Woodbridge, N.J.) added 10 points and three steals off the bench for the Bantams.

Sophomore center Drew DeMuth (Carlisle, Pa.) paced Williams with 11 points and pulled down six boards. Williams senior center Manny Benjamin (Harrare, Zimbabwe) came off the bench to score 10 points and grab 10 boards.
