TRINITY MEN'S BASKETBALL WINS THIRD IN A ROW
Danbury, Conn. - Junior swingman Colin Tabb (Somers, Conn.) scored a game-high 18 points to lead the visiting Trinity College Bantams to a 77-64 win over the Western Connecticut State University Colonials in mens basketball action this evening. Trinity, which wins its third consecutive game after a two-point loss in the season opener, improves to 3-1. Western Connecticut falls to 2-2.
Tabb made eight of 15 shots from the field and led the team in rebounding with seven and asissts with five in the victory. Three other Bantams scored in double figures, including senior center Julian Bah (Concord, Mass.) with 15 points and senior guard Mike Keohane (Belmont, Mass.) and junior forward Brian Dion (East Haven, Conn.) with 11 points apiece. Bah added a pair of blocked shots and Keohane dished out four assists. Sophomore guard Mark Carter (Peekskill, N.Y.) paced the Colonials with 11 points and eight boards, followed by senior center Everton Stewart (Bloomfield, Conn.) who scored 10 points.
