TABB POWERS TRINITY MEN'S BASKETBALL
TO ROAD WIN AT URSINUS
Collegeville, Pa. - Junior forward Colin Tabb (Somers, Conn.) had a team-high 23 points and six rebounds to lead the visiting Trinity College Bantams to an 83-80 win over the Ursinus College Bears in mens basketball action this evening. Trinity improves to 8-2 with its second straight win, and the Bears fall to 8-5 with their second loss in the last three games.
Trinity senior guard Mike Keohane (Belmont, Mass.) made four free throws down the stretch to secure the Bantam victory. The Bantams shot 56.3 percent from the field (18-32) in the second half to offset the Bears' 54.8 percent shooting display in the half.
Tabb made nine out of 15 shots from the field, including three out of five from three-point range, and added three assists. Keohane scored 17 points and dished out four assists, while junior forward Brian Dion (East Haven, Conn.) added 11 points and 11 boards for Trinity. Senior guard Rich Barrett (Hartsville, Pa.) led all scorers with 27 points for Ursinus.
