TRINITY DROPS SEASON OPENER TO
BALDWIN WALLACE IN MEN'S BASKETBALL

Oneonta, N.Y. - Senior forward Eric Fritz (Bellevue, Ohio) scored 17 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the Baldwin-Wallace College Yellow Jackets to a 67-65 win over the Trinity College Bantams in the semifinals of the Holiday Inn Classic Tip-Off Tournament at Oneonta State College this evening.

Trinity is now 0-1 and will face the Hartwick College Hawks in the consolation game tomorrow at 1 p.m. Baldwin-Wallace is 1-0 and will face Oneonta State at 3 p.m. in the finals.

Trinity led 29-26, at the half, but the Yellow Jackets rallied in the second stanza thanks to 13 points by Fritz down the stretch. Trinity shot better than Baldwin-Wallace from the field, the line, and behind the three-point line, but the Yellow Jackets made 16 free throws to Trinity's 11.

Junior captian Colin Tabb (Somers, Conn.) paced Trinity with 17 points and seven rebounds. Senior guard Mike Keohane (Belmont, Mass.) scored 14 points and dished out three assists, while junior forward Brian Dion (East Haven, Conn.) totaled 13 points and five rebounds in his first game back from last year's season-ending knee injury.
