TRINITY WOMEN’S CROSS COUNTRY WINS JAMES EARLY INVITATIONAL
Men’s Harriers Place Fourth in Meet at Westfield

Boston, Mass. – Junior Karen Roy (Ashford, Conn.) and senior co-captains Kate Klein (Huntington, Vt.) and Leeann Rheaume (Pittsfield, Mass.) finished fifth, sixth, and eighth, respectively, to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a first place finish in the James Early Invitational Women’s Cross Country Meet this afternoon at Westfield State College.  Senior co-captain Jim Emord (Bridgewater, Mass.) came in third overall to lead the Bantam men to a fourth place finish in the men’s race.      

Roy finished with a time of 22:33.50, while Klein came in at 22:35.30, and Rheaume crossed the finish line at 22:38.30.  Bantam sophomore Christina Kane (Springfield, Mass.) was 12th overall with a time of 22:51.50.  Emord recorded a time of 25:21.10.
