TRINITY CROSS COUNTRY COMPETES
IN KEENE STATE INVITATIONAL

Keene, N.H.- Women’s sophomore Christina Kane (Springfield, Mass.) finished third overall to lead the Trinity College Bantams to third place finish in the women’s race at the Keene State College Cross Country Invitational this afternoon. Senior co-captain Jim Emord (Bridgewater, Mass.) led the men’s squad to a fourth place showing, finishing seventh overall.

Trinity finished with 59 points in the women’s race, which was 26 points behind first place Dartmouth and 13 behind second place Keene State. Competing without All-American senior co-captain Ryan Bak (Suffield, Conn.), the Bantam men’s squad finished with 123 points in the men’s race.

Kane finished with a time of 18:57, while senior co-captain Kate Klein (Huntington, Vt.) was fifth with a time 19:17. Fellow senior co-captain Leeann Rheaume (Pittsfield, Mass.) came in ninth at 19:32 for the Bantams. Emord came across the finish line with a time of 26:22, while classmate Ryan Lerner (Manchester, Conn.) was 26th at 27:32.
