BAK WINS MEN'S RACE AS TRINITY
SWEEPS AMHERST X-COUNTRY INVITATIONAL
Amherst, Mass.- Senior co-captain Ryan Bak (Suffield, Conn.) won the men's race with a time of 25:55 to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a first-place finish in the Amherst College Men's Cross Country Invitational this afternoon. Bantam sophomore Christina Kane (Springfield, Mass.) finished third in the women's race to help Trinity record a sweep in its and men's and women's 2002 season opening meet.
Bantam men's senior co-captain Jim Emord (Bridgewater, Mass.) finished second in the men's race, followed by teammates Jon Drappi (West Boylston, Mass.) and James Sullivan (Sterling, Mass.) in fourth and sixth place, respectively.
For the Trinity women, senior co-captains Leeann Rheaume (Pittsfield, Mass.) and Kate Klein (Huntington, Vt.) finished fourth overall and eighth overall, respectively.
