Manchester, Conn.- Junior co-captain Ryan Bak (Suffield, Conn.) finished in first place with an impressive time of 25:50 in the men's race to lead the Trinity College Bantams To a first-place finish at the ninth annual Bantam Invitational Men's Cross Country Meet this afternoon at Wickham Park. Trinity freshman Christina Kane (Springfield, Mass.) finished in third place in the women's race to help Trinity finish first in the women's meet as well.

The Bantam men’s team finished first overall, for the third consecutive year with a score of 29 points, followed by Connecticut College, 38 points and Wesleyan College, 80 points. The Bantam women also finished first with a score of 28 points, followed by Wesleyan College, 49 points, and Connecticut College, 55 points.

Bak finished with a time of 19:37 followed by teammate Jim Emord (Bridgewater, Mass.) for second place at 26:32. Closely behind Kane were Bantams Leeann Rheaume (Pittsfield, Mass), Kate Klein (Huntington, VT), and Kristina DePeau (Stafford, Conn.) finishing in fourth through sixth respectively. Connecticut College runner Maura Danahy won the women’s race with a time of 18:42 .
