MARKELZ FINISHES SIXTH AT CODFISH BOWL

Boston, Mass. - Senior co-captain Todd Markelz (Homer, Alaska) finished sixth overall to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a third-place team finish at the Codfish Bowl men’s Cross Country Meet. Sophomore Leeann Rheaume (Pittsfield, Mass.) placed eighth in the women’s meet as the Bantam women finished fourth.

Trinity, ranked No. 5 in New England and No. 22 in NCAA Division III entering the meet finished one point behind second-place MIT. Sophomores Ryan Bak (Suffield, Conn.) and James Emord (Bridgewater, Mass.) placed 10th and 14th, respectively for the Trinity men.
