TRINITY FINISHES FIFTH AT NESCAC GOLF CHAMPIONSHIPS

Williamstown, Mass. - Senior captain Matt Greason (North Bridgton, Maine) and freshman Adam Cohen (Tampa, Fla.) each shot a two-round 161 to help the Trinity College Bantams finish fifth in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Golf Championships at Williams College this weekend.

Trinity had a five-man total of 647 to finish one shot behind fourth-place Colby College and six strokes ahead of sixth-place Tufts University. Williams won the tournament with a 605. The Bantams were tied for third with Colby after one round but slumped to a 329 on Sunday to finish behind Colby and Middlebury. Trinity sophomore Brian DiMenna (Darien, Conn.) shot a 162 and freshman Jay Pulaski (Kensington, Conn.) shot a 163 for two rounds.
