TRINITY FINISHES FIFTH AT NESCAC GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP

Middlebury, Vt. - Junior Matt Greason (North Bridgton, Maine) shot a 78 on the second day to finish with a two-day total of 165 and lead the Trinity College Bantams to a fifth-place finish at the New England Small College Athletic Conference Golf Championship at Middlebury College this weekend.

The Bantams ha d afive-person total score of 672 to finish two points ahead of sixth-place Bowdoin and Tufts and nine points behind fourth-place Hamilton. Williams won the league title with a team score of 645. Freshman Brian DiMenna and sophomore Robert Higginbotham (Farmington, Conn.) each shot an 83 on both days for a total score of 166 for Trinity.
