OUIMET LIFTS AMHERST TO OVERTIME
WIN AND PLAYOFFS AT TRINITY

Hartford, Conn. - Senior forward Abby Ouimet (Hatfield, Mass.) scored four minutes into overtime to lead the visiting Amherst College Lady Jeffs to a 1-0 victory over the Trinity College Bantams in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) field hockey action this afternoon at Robin L. Sheppard Feld.

Trinity finishes the season with a 3-11 overall record and a 2-7 mark in the NESCAC, failing to qualify for the league championship tournament. Amherst finishes the regular season at 7-7 overall and 4-5 in the league, and will play a first round NESCAC Championship Tournament game tomorrow at Williams College at 1 p.m. Trinity junior Gwen Gillespie (Bratenahl, Ohio) who stopped six shots in goal for the Bantams.
