TRINITY FIELD HOCKEY FALLS TO SPRINGFIELD
Springfield, Mass. - Senior goalie Liz Sena (Wading River, N.Y.) made four saves to record the shutout and lead the Springfield College Pride to a 2-0 win over the Trinity College Bantams in field hockey action this afternoon. Trinity , which has been shut out in all four of its losses, drops to 3-4 for the season, while Springfield, ranked No. 8 in the nation, improves to 8-2.Springfield freshman forward Lydia Grant (Granby, Conn.) netted the first goal of the game with 18:25 remaining in the first half and senior forward Melissa Rogers (Southwick, Mass), who assisted on the first goal, closed the scoring on an unassisted strike with 16:52 remaining in the contest. Trinity senior Jessica Martin (Fort Myers, Fla.) made seven saves in net for the Bantams.\
