TRINITY FIELD HOCKEY ENDS SEASON
WITH LOSS TO MIDDLEBURY
Hartford, Conn. - Senior midfielder Julia Bergofsky (Exeter, N.H.) and sophomore forward Char Glessner (Ipswich, Mass.) scored goals to lead the visiting Middlebury College Panthers to a 2-0 win over the Trinity College Bantams in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) field hockey action this afternoon.
Trinity finishes the season with a 6-8 overall record and a 3-6 mark in the NESCAC, while Middlebury, ranked No. 11 in the nation, finishes its regular season at 10-4 and 8-1 in the league. Middlebury moves on to the NESCAC Championship Tournament as the No. 1 seed next weekend, but the Bantams fail to qualify for the seven-team field.
