TRINITY FIELD HOCKEY FALLS SHORT AT WILLIAMS

 

Williamstown, Mass.- Sophomore goalkeeper Monelle Quevillon (Masouche, Quebec) made six saves to record her fifth shutout in six games and lead the Williams College Ephs to a 2-0 win over the visiting Trinity College Bantams in New England Small College Athletic Conference women's soccer action this afternoon.

Trinity, which drops its sixth game in a row, falls to 1-6 and 0-3 in the NESCAC, while Williams, ranked No. 19 in NCAA Division III, improves to 7-0.

Senior Allison Stepp (Holderness, N.H.) and sophomore Ann Schorling (Pennington, N.J.) scored the Williams goals. Freshman netminder Gwen Gillespie (Gates Mills, Ohio) had 12 saves for the Bantams.
