Cape Coral, Fla. - Senior co-captains Jayme Dorr (Osterville, Mass.) and Kurt Piantek (Wallingford, Conn.) combined for 14 hits and 10 RBI between them to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a sweep of the St. Lawrence University Saints, 20-3, and, 24-4, in baseball this afternoon in the Gene Cusic Classic in Cape Coral, Florida. The wins push the Bantam record to 4-2 and drop the Saints to 3-3 overall.

In the opening game of the double header, sophomore right-hander Chris Rodday (Concord, Mass.) earned his first victory of the season by going five innings and scattering five hits. Senior 1B Rob Dolliver (Norwich, Conn.) hit his second homerun of the season and had four runs batted in. Dorr was three for four at the plate, as was Piantek.

In the second game of the twinbill, freshman southpaw Matt Krant (Portsmouth, N.H.) went four innings to earn his first collegiate victory. The Bantams were led on offense by junior CF Angel Resto (Framingham, Mass.) who hit a pair of homeruns. Piantek went 5-for-5 at the plate, a feat that had not been achieved at Trinity in nearly ten years, while sophomore 2B Jeff Natale (Hamden, Conn.) was 4-for-5 at the plate in his first game of the season. Dorr was three for four, and hit his team-leading, third long ball of the spring.
