SEVEN PITCHERS SHUT OUT COAST
GUARD FOR TRINITY BASEBALL

New London, Conn. - Sophomore Jeff Natale (Hamden, Conn.) had three hits to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 13-0 win over the United States Coast Guard Academy Bears in baseball action this afternoon. Trinity improves to 6-3 and the Bears drop to 8-6 and have their five-game winning streak snapped.

Sophomore Joe Westcott (Holyoke, Mass.) pitched the first two innings and junior Brad Kern (West Hartford, Conn.) got the win, as seven Trinity hurlers combined to allow five hits and no runs over nine innings. Trinity pounded 16 hits and took advantage of six Bear fielding miscues.
