Hartford, Conn., July 10 –Trinity College women’s rowing junior Lucy Walker Irving (Cazenovia, N.Y.) was selected as a 2002 Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) National Scholar Athlete Award recipient. Each student-athlete must have participated in at least 75 percent of the season’s races in the varsity boat and have at least a 3.50 G.P.A.

The Bantam women’s varsity eight team, coached by Erica Schwab (fourth season), finished the 2002 season with a 7-6 record and finished 10^th in the New England Championships. Irving has a 3.60 G.P.A. as an political science major at the College.
