Noone Hired as Trinity Swimming and Diving Head Coach Trinity College

Hartford, Conn., May 11 -- Trinity College has hired Kristen Noone (West Hartford, Conn.) as head men’s and women’s swimming and diving coach. The Bantams men’s squad had a 3-6 dual record and finished 10th at the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Championships in 2000-01. The Trinity women’s team posted a 2-7 dual record and placed 11th at the NESCAC Championships this season.

Noone, who served as interim head coach for the Trinity swimming and diving teams in 2000-01, and as an assistant for both teams in 1999-00, brings a wealth of coaching and competitive swimming experience to the Trinity program. She has coached the Manchester Swim Club, with the Massachusetts Special Olympics team, and at the Total Performance Swimming Camp at Kenyon College.

Noone earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Boston College in 1989, where she was a four-year letterwinner in swimming and captain as a senior. She was a Big East Conference and New England Championships qualifier all four years and earned all-conference swimming and academic honors during her collegiate career.
