Hartford, Conn., July 25 - Three Pennsylvania student-athletes were awarded varsity letters as members of the 1999-00 Trinity College men's squash team. The Bantams, coached by Paul Assaiante, finished the season with a perfect 18-0 record and captured its second consecutive National Intercollegiate Squash Racquets Association (NISRA) Potter trophy Team Championship title.

Junior Duncan Pearson (Philadelphia, PA) received a Blue Award for earning three varsity letters in his Trinity squash career. Sophomore Noah Wimmer (Bala Cynwyd, PA) and freshman Thaddeus Roberts (Philadelphia, PA) also earned varsity letters for the Trinity men's squash squad.

Connecticut

Hartford, Conn., July 25 - Three Connecticut student-athletes were awarded varsity letters as members of the 1999-00 Trinity College men's and women's squash teams. The men's squash team, coached by Paul Assaiante, finished the season with a perfect 18-0 record and captured its second consecutive National Intercollegiate Squash Racquets Association (NISRA) Potter trophy Team Championship title. The women's team, coached by Wendy Bartlett, finished 15-3 overall with a best-ever third-place finish at the Women's Intercollegiate Squash Association (WISA) Howe Cup Team Championships.

Senior co-captain John Burn (Riverside, CT), sophomore Amanda Todd (Greenwich, CT), and freshman Amy Brown (West Hartford, CT) each earned a varsity letter for the Trinity squash squads.

International

Senior co-captain Gail Davie (Cheshire, England) and senior Marcus Cowie (Norfolk, England) both received a Gold Award for having earned four varsity letters in their Bantam squash careers, while juniors Loua Coetzee (Port Alfred, South Africa) and Janine Thompson (Port Elizabeth, South Africa) each received a Blue Award for earning three varsity letters in his or her Trinity squash career.

Junior Akhil Behl (Bombay, India), sophomores Samantha Lewins (Bromley, Zimbabwe), Rohan Bhappu (Bombay, India), Gaurav Juneja (Bombay, India), Rohan Juneja (Bombay, India), Lefika Ragontse (Gaborang, Botswana), and freshmen Clare Austin (Banbury, England), Nicola Clark (Brighton, England), Nickolas Kyme (Pembroke, Bermuda), Carl Baglio (Toronto, Ontario), and Jonathan Smith (Leeds, England) also earned varsity letters for the Trinity squash squads.
