HARTFORD, Conn., May 16- Trinity College men's squash senior co-captain Preston Quick (Lakewood, CO), senior Marcus Cowie (Norfolk, England), junior Akhil Behl (Bombay, India), and freshman Jonathan Smith (Leeds, England) were selected to the 1999-00 National Intercollegiate Squash Racquets Association (NISRA) All-American First Team. Trinity women's squash junior Janine Thompson (Port Elizabeth, South Africa) was named to the WISA (Women's Intercollegiate Squash Associtaion (WISA) All-American First Team.

In addition, sophomore Lefike Ragontse (Gaborang, Botswana) was named a NISRA Second Team All-American, senior co-captain Gail Davie (Cheshire, England) and sophomore Samantha Lewins (Bromley, Zimbabwe) were named WISA Second Team All-Americans, while junior Loua Coetzee (Port Alfred, South Africa) was a NISRA Honorable Mention All-American and freshman Nicola Clark (Brighton, England) was selected as a WISA Honorable Mention All-American.

Behl also was selected as a 2000 NISRA Scholar Athlete of the Year, and the Trinity doubles team of junior Duncan Pearson (Philadelphia, PA) and sophomore Rohan Bhappu (Bombay, India) were awarded the Ketcham Trophy as the 2000 NISRA Doubles Champions.

The Bantam men's squad, coached by Paul Assaiante, had a best-ever 18-0 record and captured its second consecutive NISRA Team Championship. The Trinity women's team, coached by Wendy Bartlett, finished with a best-ever 15-3 record and placed a best-ever No. 3 at the Howe Cup Team Championships

Quick, a four-time All-America selection, posted a 21-1 record in 1999-00, including a perfect 17-0 mark in dual matches. Quick holds the College's all-time record for wins with a 73-5 career mark. He also won the 1998-99 NISRA doubles title with teammate Joe Pentland '99.

Cowie, a four-time First Team All-America selection, posted a 17-2 record in 1999-00, including a 12-1 mark in dual matches. Cowie, who is second to Quick on the College's all-time win list with a 64-9 career mark, also won NISRA singles titles in 1997 and 1998.

Behl, a two-time First Team All-America selection, posted a 15-1 record in 1999-00, including a perfect 12-0 mark in dual matches. Smith posted a 17-1 record in 1999-00, including a perfect 12-0 dual-match record. He also won a consolation title at the 1999-00 NISRA Singles Championships.

Thompson, a three-time First Team All-America selection, posted an 11-5 record in 1999-00, including a 6-3 mark in dual matches. Thompson is second on the College's all-time list for wins with a 43-16 career mark. She also won the mid-season Constable Singles Tournament, becoming the first Bantam to capture the title.

Ragontse, a two-time All-America selection, posted a 16-2 record in 1999-00, including a perfect 12-0 mark in dual matches. Davie, a four-time All-American selection, posted a 13-5 record in 1999-00, including an 11-2 dual-match record. Lewins posted a 15-6 record in 1999-00, including an 11-3 dual-match record.

Coetzee, a two-time All-American selection, posted a 17-2 record in 1999-00, including a perfect 15-0 dual-match record. Clark posted a 13-5 record in 1999-00, including a 10-2 dual-match record.
