Heath Earns All-NESCAC Honors for Trinity Softball

Hartford, Conn., May 9 – Trinity College sophomore Laura Heath (Windsor, Conn.) was named to the 2000-01 All-New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Softball Second Team. Trinity posted an 7-22 overall record and a 1-11 league mark, which was fifth-best in the conference.

Heath, who started all 29 games in centerfield for Head Coach Tammi Hyde, was Trinity’s leading hitter with a .268 batting average (22-for-82). She also had team-highs of two home runs and 13 RBI, along with nine runs and five assists from the outfield.
