| Rorer Earns Martin Award as Trinity's Top Senior Female Scholar Athlete |
Rorer was presented the award by Trinity College President Evan Dobelle at a ceremony on May 1 at the President's house. She was also honored by President Dobelle and Director of Athletics Richard Hazelton at the College's annual Senior Banquet that evening.
Rorer earned All-New England honors this season for the Bantam women's swim team, which compiled a 3-7 dual record and finished 15th at the NCAA Division III New England Championships. Rorer also started for the Bantam women's rowing first varsity-eigth crew, which compiled a 3-5 record this spring.
Rorer, who earned All-New England honors in swimming the last three seasons, holds College record in the 100-yard and 200-yard breaststroke. She won the College's Board of Fellows Award as the top junior scholar-athlete in 1998-99, and was a member of four NESCAC All-Academic Teams. Rorer maintained a 3.8 grade-point average as a neuroscience major.
