Trinity Men's Tennis Ranked Eighth After Fall Season Trinity College

TRINITY MEN'S TENNIS RANKED

EIGHTH AFTER FALL SEASON

HARTFORD, Conn., Nov. 23, - The Trinity College men's tennis team, coached by Paul Assaiante (sixth season), is ranked eighth in the Intercollgiate Tennis Association (ITA) NCAA Division III rankings following a succesful fall campaign.

Trinity, which went 14-2 in 1998-99, blanked Springfield College, 7-0, in its only dual match and competed in several singles and doubles tournaments this fall.

Junior Rostyslav Orach (New York, NY) is the 5th-ranked singles player according to the ITA. Orach posted a 13-1 dual record and won the No.1 singles flight at the NESCAC Championships. Orach helped Trinity advance to the NCAA Division III National Championship quarterfinals and earned All-American honors for his outstanding 1998-99 season.
