Student-Athletes Earn Varsity Letters for Trinity Soccer Trinity College

MASSACHUSETTS ATHLETES EARN VARSITY LETTERS FOR TRINITY SOCCER

Hartford, Conn. January 14, 2000 - 14 Massachusetts student-athletes were awarded varsity letters as members of the 1999 Trinity College men's and women's soccer teams. The men's soccer team, coached by Ed Mighten, finished the season with a best-ever 13-4 record and advanced to the finals of the ECAC Division III New England Championship. The women's team, coached by Michael Smith, finished at 4-8-1.

Senior tri-captain midfielder Daniel Rudolph (Hingham, MA), senior tri-captain back Katie Fleming (Needham, MA), and senior tri-captain back Joanna Padden (Newton, MA) all received a Gold Award for having earned four varsity letters in their Bantam soccer careers.

Senior tri-captain midfielder John Harrelson (Longmeadow, MA), senior forward Mike Wilson (Longmeadow, MA), junior midfielder Caley Iandorio (Wayland, MA), junior forward Brett MacQuarrie (Cohasset, MA), junior midfielder Steven Rovithus (Agawam, MA), and senior back Kristin Arnold (Longmeadow, MA) all received a Blue Award for having earned three varsity letters in their soccer careers at Trinity.

Junior back Peter Trimble (Mashpee, MA), sophomore midfielder Tisha Driscoll (Peabody, MA), sophomore midfielder Bridget Dullea (Longmeadow, MA), freshman back Phil Flakes (Dedham, MA), and freshman forward Morgan Sandell (Cohasset, MA) also earned varsity letters for the Trinity soccer squads.

PENNSYLVANIA ATHLETE EARNS VARSITY LETTER FOR TRINITY SOCCER

Hartford, Conn. January 14, 2000 - Junior goalkeeper Tom Hambrick-Stowe (Lancaster, PA) received a Blue Award for having earned three varsity letters as a member of the 1999 Trinity College men's soccer team.

The Bantams, coached by Ed Mighten, finished the season with a best-ever 13-4 record and advanced to the finals of the ECAC Division III New England Championship.

CONNECTICUT ATHLETES EARN VARSITY LETTERS FOR TRINITY SOCCER

The men's soccer team, coached by Ed Mighten, finished the season with a best-ever 13-4 record and and advanced to the finals of the ECAC Division III New England Championship. The women's team, coached by Michael Smith, ended up 4-8-1.

Junior midfielder Mickey Chambers (Bloomfield,CT), junior back David Pimentel (Wallingford, CT), and junior forward Jessica Ritter (Hartford, CT) all received a Blue Award for having earned three varsity letters in their soccer careers at Trinity.

Senior midfielder Eric Scata (Middletown, CT), junior midfielder Karen O'Keefe (North Branford, CT), sophomore midfielder John Rossi (Salisbury, CT), sophomore forward Pete Zoppi (Cheshire, CT), sophomore forward/midfielder Jillian Liese (Wethersfield, CT), sophomore goalie Sarah Bradley (Mansfield, CT), freshman midfielder Courtney Stewart (Trumbull, CT), and freshman back Meghan Roscio (Glastonbury, CT) also earned varsity letters for the Trinity soccer squads.

NEW YORK ATHLETES EARN VARSITY LETTERS FOR TRINITY SOCCER

Senior back Kosuke Ikeda (Harrison, NY) and sophomore back Kamali Davis (Hempstead, NY) both earned their first varsity letters for the Bantams.

NEW HAMPSHIRE ATHLETES EARN VARSITY LETTERS FOR TRINITY SOCCER

The women's team, coached by Michael Smith, ended up 4-8-1.

Junior tri-captain back Valentin Toth (Hudson) received a Blue Award for having earned three varsity letters in his soccer career at Trinity. Junior goalkeeper Irfan Rizvi (Londonderry, NH) and sophomore forward Kerry Hood (Londonderry, NH) also earned varsity letters for the Trinity soccer squads.

CALIFORNIA ATHLETES EARN VARSITY LETTERS FOR TRINITY SOCCER

Hartford, Conn., January 14, 2000 - Junior midfielder Marisa Eddy (Los Angeles, CA) received the Blue Award for having earned three varsity letters as a member of the Trinity College women's soccer team. The Bantams, coached by Michael Smith, posted a 4-8-1 record in 1999.

RHODE ISLAND ATHLETES EARN VARSITY LETTERS FOR TRINITY SOCCER

Senior midfielder Nate Potter (North Smithfield, RI) received a Gold Award for having earned four varsity letters in his soccer career at Trinity. Freshman back/midfielder Alissa Crevier (North Kingstown, RI) earned her first varsity letter for the Bantam women's squad.

NEW JERSEY ATHLETE EARNS VARSITY LETTER FOR TRINITY SOCCER

Hartford, Conn., January 14, 2000 - Sophomore back Josh Merkel (Saddle River, NJ) was awarded his first varsity letter as a member of the 1999 Trinity College men's soccer team.

VERMONT ATHLETE EARNS VARSITY LETTER FOR TRINITY SOCCER
