Hartford, Conn., Jan. 30 - Trinity men’s soccer sophomore Aaron Birnbaum (Newton, Mass.) was named to the 2001 Jewish Sports Review Division II/III All-American Men’s Soccer team. The Bantams men’s soccer team, coached by Eddie Mighten, finished the season 6-8 and 3-6 in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC).

Birnbaum started 13 games in the Bantam midfield before suffering a season-ending injury. He finished the second on the team with four goals and added two assists to finish second on the team in scoring with 10 points. A graduate of Newton North High School, and a 2001 NESCAC All-Academic selection, Birnbaum maintains a 3.54 grade point average at Trinity.
