Trinity Doubles Team Honored
as NISRA Champions

Hartford, Conn., April 2 - Trinity College senior co-captain Duncan Pearson (Philadelphia, Pa.) and his freshman doubles partner Pat Malloy (Boston, Mass.) received the Ketcham Trophy as the National Intercollegiate Squash Racquets Association (NISRA) Doubles Champions.

The Trinity Bantams, coached by Paul Assaiante, posted its third consecutive undefeated season this winter at 17-0, and have won 52 straight matches. Trinity won its third consecutive NISRA Team Championship title (Potter Trophy) as well.

Pearson and Malloy won the doubles tournament at the NISRA Individual Championships in early March. Pearson won the doubles title last season, playing alongside junior Rohan Bhappu (Bombay, India). Pearson posted a perfect 8-0 record in singles matches this season and finished his career with a 38-7 mark.

Malloy had a flawless 11-0 dual singles record in his rookie season, including a 3-0 win in the NISRA Championship finals.
