Hartford, Conn., June 13 - Trinity College junior Rebecca Sullivan (Brookline, Mass.) was selected to the 2003 All-New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Women’s Lacrosse First Team and 2003 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England All-Star Team. Bantam sophomore Beatrice Gratry (Hunting Valley, Ohio) was selected to the All-NESCAC Second Team. |

The Trinity women, coached by Kara Tierney (4th season), posted an 9-7 overall record and a 4-5 mark in the league, which qualified them for a second straight NESCAC Championship Tournament appearance. The Bantams lost at Williams, 10-4, in the first round.
Sullivan, played in all 16 games (15 starts) on defense and in the midfield and finished with a team-high 52 ground balls and 25 turnovers caused. Gratry, repeating as an all-league second team selection this spring, started all 16 games at attack and finished with a league-high 57 goals and 19 assists for a team-high 76 points. Gratry also totaled 33 ground balls, 32 turnovers caused, and a team-high, 31 draw controls. She was named as the NESCAC Player of the Week once this season.
